Custom domains

Attach an owned subdomain and follow its DNS and HTTPS readiness.

Add a subdomain

  1. Open Settings → Domains for your project.
  2. Enter a subdomain you control, such as app.example.com. Apex domains and wildcard attachments are not supported.
  3. Create the exact ownership TXT record shown in the dashboard. Its value is specific to this attachment.
  4. Create the CNAME shown in the dashboard, pointing to the platform's configured edge hostname.
  5. Request verification and inspect DNS and TLS readiness. Use the HTTPS address once the domain is ready.

Ownership is separate from traffic routing

The TXT record proves control; the CNAME routes traffic. Both must match the dashboard instructions. Certificate readiness is a separate check and may take time after DNS changes.

Trusted NjiraCloud product domains and the managed workload namespace are reserved. Attaching a customer domain never grants it dashboard authentication, API access or OAuth authority.
