Quickstart
Create a project, deploy an application, then add data resources.
Before you begin
Have a GitHub repository containing a supported application or a Dockerfile. Know the application's listening port and a health-check path that returns a successful HTTP response. A web application must listen on 0.0.0.0 rather than only localhost.
Create and deploy
- Open the dashboard and continue with GitHub. Your account is created on first sign-in.
- Choose New project. Connect the NjiraCloud GitHub App and install it for the repositories you want to deploy.
- Select an authorized repository. Choose its production branch, project name, slug and repository-relative root directory.
- Review Build & Deployment settings, including framework, application port and health-check path. Supply commands when your stack requires them.
- Create the project, then use Deploy. Watch deployment events and build logs; a saved project alone is not a deployed application.
- When the deployment is ready and serving traffic, open its application URL. Public HTTPS availability depends on the platform's domain configuration.
Add PostgreSQL or Redis
Open the project's Resources section, create the resource and attach it to the project. Wait for it to become ready, then deploy again so the application receives its managed connection variable.
