Deploy from GitHub

Account sign-in and repository authorization are separate GitHub connections.

Authorize your repositories

GitHub OAuth identifies your account. Repository access uses the separate NjiraCloud GitHub App. Install the App on the appropriate GitHub account or organization, granting access to the repositories you intend to deploy.

The repository picker lists repositories your App connection can access. Private repositories require that authorization; signing in alone does not grant repository access.

Choose a production branch

Set the repository and exact branch in project settings. Branch names are case-sensitive. Source access is checked again when admitting a deployment; revoked permissions or a deleted branch can prevent deployment.

Automatic and manual deployments

Source / Git settings controls automatic deployments. When enabled and the GitHub App webhook integration is configured, pushes to the production branch can request a deployment. Other branches and tags do not deploy that production binding.

You can also request a manual deployment from the dashboard. Deployments record the source commit; duplicate delivery handling does not imply that every intermediate commit must be deployed.
